Lori McCormick

Lori McCormick transitioned from the medical device industry in 2006 to pursue her passion for supporting students through the college admissions process. With experience in undergraduate transfer admissions, university career centers, and community organizations, Lori brings both institutional knowledge and individualized care to her work in independent college counseling. She has guided hundreds of high school and transfer students with a philosophy centered on personalized support for academic, vocational, and personal growth. Lori holds a Master’s degree in Psychology & Career Counseling from Antioch University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara. She is an active member of HECA, NACAC, and WACAC, maintaining strong professional standards and engagement within the admissions community.
