Lori transitioned from the medical device industry in 2006 to pursue her passion for helping young people navigate the college admissions process. With experience in undergraduate transfer admissions, university career centers, and community organizations, she brings a well-rounded and compassionate approach to independent college counseling.
She has guided hundreds of high school and transfer students, focusing on personalized academic, vocational, and personal success.
Lori holds a Master’s degree in Psychology & Career Counseling from Antioch University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara. She is a proud member of HECA, NACAC, and WACAC.

Marc transitioned from a high-tech financial services career to follow his passion for helping others achieve their fullest potential. As a former part-time application reader for Stanford University’s Undergraduate Admissions Office, Marc brings valuable insider perspective to the college application process.
For over a decade, he mentored high school seniors in crafting compelling application essays through a nonprofit program. His background as an engineering manager also informs his thoughtful, structured advising approach.
Marc holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology & Society from Stanford University, a College Counseling certificate from UC San Diego Extension, and a professional life coach certification from Impact Coaching Academy. He is a member of NACAC and WACAC.
